Overview
Running an SEO Audit sweeps your pages to analyze tag structures, sitemaps, robots.txt files, and redirects, compiling a technical report without altering database fields.
When should I use it?
Use this to check for broken links, missing meta descriptions, or duplicate heading tags after updating content.
Before you begin
- Verify your target domain is online and publicly resolvable.
Step-by-Step Guide
- In your dashboard, input your target URL in the domain search box.
- Select the **Run SEO Audit** operation type.
- Choose your scope: **Single Page** or **Full Site** scan.
- Click **Launch Audit**.
What happens behind the scenes
Our crawler issues HTTP requests to the target links, parses header parameters, and records HTTP status code errors.
Expected Results
A comprehensive details view listing crawl statistics, sitemap indicators, and code snippets.
Common Mistakes
- Using an incorrect URL protocol (e.g. entering
http://when your site forces redirects tohttps://).
Best Practices
- Use Single Page scans for post-deploy checks, and reserve Full Site scans for monthly review cycles.
