How to Audit Page Meta Tags

Overview

Meta tags (titles and descriptions) control how your pages look in search engine results. Correctly length-targeted tags improve search relevance and CTR.

Severity Impact

• Missing title or missing description: **Critical** (-5 points).
• Title too long/short or description too long/short: **Warning** (-3 points).

Detection Logic

Cheerio parses metadata attributes and counts character lengths.

How to Fix

1. Review the recommendation drawer.
2. Select the optimized AI suggestion or write a custom tag directly in the drawer editor.
3. Click **Apply Fix** to deploy the meta tags.
