Overview
Opportunities are low-severity recommendations that focus on visual search features and social shareability. Examples include missing Open Graph (og:title, og:image) or Twitter Card tags, and minor heading order discrepancies.
Severity Impact
Each Opportunity deducts **1 point** per page from your score. They represent fine-tuning optimizations.
Detection Logic
The parser checks for social tags and logs instances where they are missing or duplicate.
How to Fix
- Open the **Opportunities** tab in your audit report.
- Add Open Graph titles and images. The images should match a 1200x630 pixel ratio.
- Ensure headings form a clean nested structure.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do Open Graph tags affect search ranking directly?
No, but they affect click-through rates and branding when links are shared on Slack, Twitter, or Discord.
