Overview
Adjusting your monitoring schedule controls how frequently CrawlSage scans your sitemap. You can choose a frequency that aligns with how often you update your site and fits your credit budget.
Prerequisites
- An active project subscription with available credits.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Open your project dashboard and go to **Settings → Audit Configuration**.
- Locate the **Crawl Schedule** dropdown. Options include:
- Manual: Scan only when you click the manual scan button.
- Daily: Crawl and audit the sitemap once every 24 hours.
- Weekly: Run audits once a week on Sunday at midnight.
- Monthly: Run audits on the 1st of every month.
- Select your frequency and click **Update Configuration**.
Credit Planning
Weekly scans are recommended for active blogs and marketing sites. Daily sweeps are best for e-commerce sites with frequent inventory or URL updates.
